These are images that I have posted in the SmugMug Daily Photos Community. It is where I enjoy sharing my work and receiving constructive feedback. It's also a place to go to unwind after a long day and just view all the great images of the other Daily Photos members. The ultimate goal is to post a photo each day, but failing that, I will post as often as I can. 8/07/12 - 56 Auto Theater- St. Lawrence County, NY
Drive-in Theaters are rapidly disappearing from the landscape. I spotted this along Route 56 and stopped to photograph the sign, but found I could get most of the drive-in, too.
After a little research, I discovered that the 56 Auto Theater was opened in 1955. It's neat to see that it is still in operation. I'll bet some of you have some interesting drive-in stories to tell.....hmmm, maybe I shouldn't ask.
